Farm Industry

The BC Farm Industry Review Board (BCFIRB) supervises the regulated commodity boards in BC and hears appeals by individuals who are affected by decisions of the commodity boards.  It may also hear appeals concerning grading licence issues and complaints regarding farm practices used by agriculture and aquaculture operations.  BCFIRB also uses various forms of dispute resolution processes to assist parties to resolve issues by agreement.  BCFIRB can provide speakers in the following areas:  Vancouver Island, the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley, the Okanagan, and Prince George.
