Dispute Resolution

The mission of the Dispute Resolution Office (DRO), part of the Ministry of the Attorney General, is to promote dispute prevention and resolution processes that help British Columbians achieve early, cost effective and durable outcomes.  The DRO works within the Justice system, promoting reforms such as the Notice to Mediate process, and within government, assisting Boards, Tribunals, statutory decision makers and others to adopt non-adversarial methods for resolving disputes.
